And if you’re worried about losing your job because of your industrial fan’s oscillating sound, you’re not alone.
According to a new report from the Center for Media and Democracy, nearly half of American manufacturers have switched from the older, cheaper brands to cheaper, more efficient models.
The study found that companies with older, older, and older industrial ceiling and industrial fan models are also more likely to be shuttered and laid off as workers struggle to replace or replace their old equipment.
And the report found that more than a third of all the companies surveyed are shutting down or laying off employees in response to the new low prices on older models, which means they’re losing their workers to cheaper options.
